Will Real Life Barbie be Hollywood’s First Ever Cosmetic Surgery Ambassador

A Cambridgeshire 46-year-old mother of three, has been snapped up by a top American agent after worldwide media coverage about her controversial decision to undergo more than £180,000-worth of cosmetic procedures has propelled her into the media limelight.

Sarah Burge from St. Neots in Cambridgeshire has enjoyed widespread UK TV and radio exposure, whilst national newspaper articles have been syndicated all over the world. Coverage as far a field as Italy, Singapore, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Russia have seen her www.reallifebarbie.com website receive as many as 20,000 visitors a day. Hundreds of personal emails from admirers have also flooded in including 20 proposals of marriage.

Sarah – who is also referred to by the media as the ‘Real Life Barbie’ - said,

“It’s all been a blur - like a fairy tale. My decision to maintain my looks in this way has always generated a lot of interest. And I always hoped I’d be able to use that interest to tell as many people about the benefits of professional cosmetic surgery. The Hollywood opportunity has come out of the blue but I’m excited about the potential of reaching such a wide audience.”

Sarah’s agent in Hollywood, Sandra L. Joseph, was co-incidentally also Sarah’s brother’s agent – Trevor Goddard who starred in JAG and Pirates of the Caribbean. Despite meeting Sarah at Trevor’s funeral in 2003 Sandra only discovered her media potential by accident whilst surfing for internet news.

Sandra reveals,

“Sarah’s a natural. Her decision to have so many cosmetic procedures is plainly controversial – but she discusses it openly and has a fun no-holds-barred approach to TV interviews which makes her compulsive viewing.

“Better than that, she looks fabulous which opens a whole world of modelling opportunities too. She’s a welcome addition to my client roster and we look forward to her achieving big things in the future.”

Sarah now hopes to capitalise on her new found fame to help inspire others about the benefits of cosmetic surgery.

Sarah adds,

“There are so many inconsistencies when it comes to society’s response to cosmetic surgery. Celebrities are applauded for maintaining there youthful looks whilst people often disapproves of the average woman on the street who chooses cosmetic surgery to enhance their lifestyle. I hope I can help even out the balance.”

Sarah is also currently considering modelling offers with some of the world’s highest circulation Men’s magazines and has not ruled out being the first woman to have cosmetic surgery live on TV.
