NEWS: UK Real Life Barbie's First US TV Interview Will Be Broadcast to More Than 3.5 Million

October 25th 2007: A UK woman from Cambridgeshire who has had more than £200,000-worth of cosmetic surgery has taken her first step towards US stardom.

Sarah’s first US appearance will be broadcast throughout America and seen by more than 3.5 million American viewers in a 20-minute interview on the Maury Show next week.  The Maury Show, which is syndicated throughout the world, will also feature the first TV showing of Sarah’s latest sexy photographs.

Sarah, who spent a week in New York filming the show about her cosmetic surgery, said,

“The Maury Show was an incredible experience. I loved every minute of it.  Most people have opinions about cosmetic surgery.  And, I know that my opinions are particularly controversial which, along with my sexy, humorous and unconventional style, makes such great TV.

“I loved the American attitude towards cosmetic surgery.  They are far more open minded than other countries I’ve been interviewed in.  It was wonderful to be involved in a show where the subject was dealt with so openly.

“When I joked with the audience, in my English accent, that I spend more money refuelling my yacht than I do on cosmetic surgery - it brought the house down.  We filmed outside in Times Square and the Empire State before my interview in front of a frenzied cheering American audience.

“I‘m always delighted to spread the word about the benefits of looking your best to as many people as possible.”

Sarah’s appearance on the Maury Show is the latest step in her media career. Sarah’s profile continues to grow dramatically with recent national UK media appearances on Richard and Judy, BBC, Sky, Sky News, GMTV, Radio 5 and Radio 4, the James Whale Show and Kerrang Radio amongst many others.

The media interest has enticed hundreds of thousands of visitors to her website www.reallifebarbie.com from fans in the UK and throughout the world including Singapore, Russia, Norway and Italy.

And this month Sarah appears on the front page of the world’s first dedicated cosmetic surgery magazine.

Sarah said,

“This was a huge opportunity for me.  The Maury show is a US phenomenon. The last 12 months have been a whirlwind of media interviews and magazine features throughout the world.

“But as far as TV goes, I’m ready for anything now.  And it won’t be too long before I’m hosting my own show … just like Maury!”

Earlier this year, Sarah signed an exclusive contract to have a film of her life story produced and broadcast in Japan.  NTV (Nippon Television) - Japan's first national TV network - has swooped to sign up Sarah Burge for the company’s top-rated The World Astonishing News show.

A Cambridgeshire woman who has had more than £200,000-worth of cosmetic surgery has revealed plans to launch a women’s clothing and accessories retail empire – with the backing of a UK-based billionaire.

49-year-old London-based billionaire Jonathan de Mornay – brother of American actress Rebecca de Mornay - is investing a seven figure sum in 47-year-old Sarah Burge’s vision for an international retail chain.

Sarah is known in the media as the Real Life Barbie (www.reallifebarbie.com ).  Her new store will champion the philosophy that women should be able to wear any clothes they choose with confidence - whatever age they may be.

Jonathan said,

“Sarah is an extraordinary woman.  She is a paradox of beauty, sensuality and innocence all rolled into one. Her international TV and radio appearances have captivated millions of people not least for her energy and enthusiasm.

“It is this spirit, along with her unique retail vision, which I believe will make her fashion venture a huge success.”

The stores will be launched in 2008 at a prestigious first location in London’s Knightsbridge.  Sarah is already in the advanced stage of finalising supplier agreements and fine-tuning the name and look for the new store.

Sarah said,

“Not everyone agrees with my forthright approach to life.  But the enormous level of support I have received from thousands of men and women alike through my website has spurred me on to develop this retail chain.

“The shops will be for every woman who believes life is all about being the very best that you can be, and women who are brave enough to stand out from the crowd.  That’s the spirit that inspires me.”

Sarah’s retail plans are the latest step in her increasingly-public career which has seen her profile grow dramatically with national UK media appearances on Richard and Judy, GMTV, Radio 5 and Radio 4, Sky News,  The James Whale show and Kerrang radio amongst others.

Real Life Barbie Scoops Life Story Film Contract with Japanese TV

A woman from St. Neots in Cambridgeshire - who has had more than £200,000-worth of cosmetic surgery - has signed an exclusive contract to have a film of her life story produced and broadcast in Japan.

NTV (Nippon Television) - Japan's first national TV network - has swooped to sign up 46-year-old Sarah Burge for the company’s top-rated The World Astonishing News show. Filming in Cambridgeshire has already been completed.

The show is now in production and will be aired to an expected audience of more than two and a half million Japanese TV viewers in September. This will be the first time Sarah’s story has been told on TV anywhere in the world.

Mother-of-three Sarah, know in the media as the Real Life Barbie, said,

“I’m absolutely delighted with the filming. I’ve always been a colourful character and I knew it would only be a matter of time before it captured the imagination of film producers.

“The Japanese production has been extremely efficient and thorough. In fact their research revealed life events that even I’d forgotten about! I can’t wait to see the finished version.”

The film will feature a combination of live shots of Sarah and family in and around her home town of St Neots. It will also include dramatised versions of key events in Sarah’s life played out by Japanese actors and actresses.

The story takes the viewers from Sarah’s first cosmetic procedure at the age of nine and goes on to reveal Sarah’s experiences as a Playboy bunny girl and now as an aesthetic consultant and international cosmetic surgery ambassador.

Only last month Sarah revealed that she had also been invited to star in a horror film which is expected to go into production later in the year. But filming for that project may now have to be re-arranged around a personal promotional tour in Japan before Sarah’s life story is broadcast.

Sarah adds,

“There is so much to organise between now and September. The response to my previous interviews and media appearances has been a little overwhelming. I’ve had thousands of emails from well wishers.

“I want to make the most of this new opportunity. I’m looking forward to making contact with a whole new audience in Japan – and helping even more people to appreciate the life-enhancing benefits of cosmetic surgery.”

The interest from Japan is the latest in along line of media interest both in this country and throughout the world including Singapore, Russia, Norway and Italy.

Sarah’s previous national UK media appearances on Richard and Judy, GMTV, Radio 5 and Radio 4 have generated hundreds of thousands of hits on her website www.reallifebarbie.com

Richard and Judy TV Horror Show Scoops Debut Film Role for Real Life Barbie

A UK woman who has had more than £200,000-worth of cosmetic surgery has been cherry picked for a leading role in a UK horror film after being unable to disguise her anger during a live TV interview.

46-year old Sarah Burge from St. Neots near Cambridge was one of three interviewees invited to debate the issue of cosmetic surgery on the live show aired on Friday 30th March which also featured award-winning comedian Ricky Gervais.

But as the interview progressed Sarah’s answers were rudely talked over by the hosts and afterwards she was completely ignored by celebrity-obsessed production team at the end of series party.

Sarah, who is famous for her surgically-enhanced body, received hundreds of emails from fans upset that she’d been so poorly treated on the show.

She said,

“I was bloody furious! Before I went on air I was completely blanked by both the hosts – despite greeting them. And Richard Madeley blanked me as I greeted him again in the post show party. I wasn’t expecting the red carpet treatment but a little common courtesy would have been nice.

“This world is new to me. You think these people are wonderful and approachable when you watch them on TV – but my experience is the exact opposite.

“Ricky Gervais was one of the guests that night – and the whole crew were fawning round him like he was royalty. But Gervais could barely summon a grunt as he skulked around like the whole event was beneath him.”

Sarah’s supressed anger during the interview demonstrated qualities award-winning film maker Martin Marshall from NRG Films wanted for a key role in a new horror film.

The film called ‘Psycho Surgeon’ will go into production later this year and will be screened at film festivals throughout the world. Sarah plays the part of a cosmetic surgeon who takes people’s body parts for herself.

Martin Marshall said,

“The role is perfect for Sarah. To be honest I rarely watch the Richard and Judy programme. But as the interview progressed there was something engaging about her. The cosmetic surgery link is a complete co-incidence. All I know is that she looks great on screen and audiences will love her.”

Sarah’s previous national UK media appearances on GMTV, Radio 5 and Radio 4 have generated hundreds of thousands of hits on her website www.reallifebarbie.com. And she hopes her big screen opportunity will be equally well received.

Sarah adds,

“The new film role has made the whole sorry event worthwhile. It’s a wonderful new opportunity for me so I’m happy to let bygones be bygones with Richard and Judy. In fact, I’d be happy to appear as a guest when I promote the film launch. I’d even waive my fee in return for a little courtesy!”

Move Over Jordan! £180,000 Real Life Barbie to Launch Glamour Modelling Career at the Age of 46

A 46-year old mother of three from St. Neots in Cambridgeshire is planning a lifetime-first-ever topless photo shoot - normally reserved for 20-something models - after national newspaper and magazine picture editors spotted her on TV.

Sarah, who is famous her £180,000 surgically-enhanced body, is turning her modelling dreams into reality thanks to more than 25 cosmetic procedures. And her youthful looks have recently prompted widespread UK TV and radio exposure, whilst national newspaper articles have been syndicated all over the world.

Sarah Burge – known in the media as the Real Life Barbie www.reallifebarbie.com – has now promised to reveal her breasts (incidentally one of the only body areas that are not surgically enhanced) for the first time in the national media for the right publication.

Sarah said,

“I think it’s so invigorating to think I have this wonderful new modelling opportunity when most women my age are expected to settle down. It shows just what can be achieved of you really put your mind to it.

“I could be just like any other woman at my age. But thanks to good diet, exercise and quality cosmetic advice I feel like my career is just beginning. I’m so excited!”

Media coverage as far a field as Italy, Singapore, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Russia have seen Sarah’s www.reallifebarbie.com website receive as many as 50,000 visitors a day. Hundreds of personal emails from admirers have also flooded in including 20 proposals of marriage.

Sarah has now adopted and ambassadorial role promoting the benefits of cosmetic surgery and championing the rights of individuals choosing cosmetic surgery to maintain their looks.

Sarah would even be willing to have an operation in front of a live TV audience, if she felt that more people would become open to the benefits of cosmetic surgery as a consequence.

But all that will have to wait when her new modelling career takes off.

Sarah added,

“I remember being told when I was younger to commission a portfolio of photographs while I still had my looks. It feels like I’m being given a second chance and I intend to grasp it with both hands.

“I need to think carefully which magazine or newspaper publishes the exclusive first photo shoot. But after that who knows! Thanks to cosmetic surgery there’s no reason why I couldn’t be glamour modelling when I’m in my 60’s.”

“I’m committed to being a huge success. And hopefully I can inspire other women to follow in my footsteps. If I can do it, anyone can.”

More information about Sarah Burge – including the opportunity to purchase photographic prints - is available from the website www.reallifebarbie.com.
